Requirements: Successful completion of the basic level. Target group: home and abroad learners who are actively involved in the German language and culture or who want to prepare for study at a German-speaking university. On a new track there is a textbook for middle and senior grades. The guide, which is available as a free download, provides information on how to use the textbook only in graduate school. Learning objective: Independent handling of spoken and written texts as well as differentiated oral and written expression. Preparation for studying in a German-speaking country and for the exams required for university entrance (ZMP / Goethe Certificate C1, ZOP / Goethe Certificate C2, TestDaF, DSH).

The one-volume textbook is divided into eight lessons. Each unit consists of three topic groups, an in-depth grammar section with exercises and an advanced elective section with additional projects, texts and games. On New Ways contains a wide range of text types. All reading and listening texts are original and encourage cross-cultural discussions. Skills are taught in an integrated manner. The diverse classification of exercises allows for varied and active lessons. Academic communication procedures such as discussion, presentation, lecture or text abstract are also developed and practiced intensively.
