A completely new introduction to the new Zertifikat Deutsch follows Topics New 2, as an alternative to New Topics 3. In this volume, the forms of the exercises largely correspond to those of the certification exams.
Each lesson is prepared for one part of the exam. The Grammar of New Topics 1 and New Topics 2 are systematically repeated and expanded in relation to the degree material. At the end of the lesson there is a sample exam portion with comments and tips for a purposeful approach.
As an addition to the many listening comprehension exercises, each lesson concludes with ‘Listening Soap’, which introduces learners to the daily lives of three young people in a shared flat in an entertaining way.
