Tangram aktuell is the revised version of the Tangram and is strictly based on the reference frame specification.
The textbook leads to the Start Deutsch 1 and Start Deutsch 2 exams as well as the Zertifikat Deutsch. Target group: Adults and young people aged 16 and over on all Basic Level courses (A1-B1) worldwide. Teaching objective: Tangram aktuell leads to levels A1, A2 and B1 and specifically prepares students for exams (German Start 1 and 2 or German Certificate). Learners of Tangram aktuell can quickly use German actively and creatively. In this way, the basic objectives of the Common European Framework of Reference are achieved: communicative competence and linguistic capacity for action. Structure: Tangram aktuell is a textbook in six volumes. Both the workbook and the workbook CD are integrated into the course book. Each volume contains material for approximately 50-80 learning units. There is also Tangram Z with material for 80-120 Special Education Units for Certificate Preparation. Concept: The tried-and-tested concept is retained in the course book: original listening and reading texts plus a variety of exercises are based on lively everyday language and challenge the creative exploration of the content. Strategies for all skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) are taught in a targeted manner from the start. New grammatical phenomena are elaborated on the principle of self-directed discovery: learners are enabled to think about and develop language structures on their own. The learner’s phonological competence is built from the outset through a combination of imitative, cognitive, and communicative elements. Lyrics, Rap and Rhymes Practice your pronunciation and intonation in a creative and fun way. The workbook presents itself in a new concept: it contains a wide range of structure and vocabulary exercises as well as creative communicative tasks for the practice stages in the classroom as well as for independent work at home. Tests and self-assessment based on to-do descriptions of the frame of reference allow for regular and independent monitoring of learning progress. At the end of the lesson there is an overview of the learning vocabulary for target vocabulary training.
